It’s that time again. Transition.
No, Phil and I are not flying out of the country, but we are leaving our house in Emmaus. Then it’s a month on the road followed by several weeks in Lancaster County before returning to Kenya. Emmaus has been a thread of continuity in our globe-trotting lives. We’ve lived in the same neighborhood four times in the last 16 years.
It’s time to close up our safe deposit box, forward the mail, return all library books, patronize the local businesses one last time, double check the passport, scrub the kitchen floor… and turn in the house keys.
Emmaus, it’s been great! Thank you, Jesus.
